Biography

Vikrant Nanda is a part-time lecturer in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Silicon Valley. 

Nanda’s expertise sits at the intersection of information security, privacy, and risk management, with a strong eye to business relevance. He has spent two decades in a variety of leadership roles in tech, banking, and telecommunications at companies such as Google, JPMorgan Chase, and Comcast. He continues to serve as both the Principal Technical Program Manager for Security and Privacy at Figure AI, and Industry VP of the nonprofit Silicon Valley Cybersecurity Institute (SVCSI).  

Before joining Khoury College, Nanda served as an adjunct lecturer at San Jose State University, where he developed new curricula and course materials that bridged the engineering and business departments. Nanda is a passionate teacher and is excited to bring his blend of technical complexity and business relevance to the “Cybersecurity Principles and Practices” course in Silicon Valley.  

In his free time, Nanda enjoys mentoring, tinkering, and being a family man.
