Kaleidoscope at Khoury College
The undergraduate club council: robust organizations, strong collaborations, impactful opportunities
Kaleidoscope is a student-led initiative supported by the Khoury dean’s office, dedicated to strengthening collaboration and communication between Khoury undergraduate student clubs and the broader university community. Founded in 2023, Kaleidoscope aims to empower clubs by offering access to Khoury resources, including funding, promotional support, and equitable institutional backing.
Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant, connected community of students, faculty and staff, and organizations through shared opportunities and meaningful engagement.
Kaleidoscope empowers your club to shine
At a large university such as Northeastern, it can be difficult for student groups to know how and where to advocate for themselves. By serving as a bridge between club leaders and Khoury faculty, Kaleidoscope helps ensure that student voices are heard and supported.
It’s hard for clubs to ask their college or Northeastern for help and resources; we’re a big school and there are lots of people to deal with for different things … We empower the clubs with the resources they need to grow

By joining Kaleidoscope, clubs can gain access to a wide range of resources designed to support their growth and success. As Kaleidoscope-recognized organizations, clubs will be eligible to receive funding through two primary opportunities: the Events Fund, which supports events that benefit the Khoury student community, and the Annual Grant, which provides flexible funding for a club’s needs.
Recognition by Kaleidoscope also brings valuable exposure and engagement opportunities designed to help Kaleidoscope clubs thrive and build strong connections within the Khoury community, including:
- Khoury club fair: Connect with students and recruit new members
- Khoury website: Each club has its own dedicated web page
- Khoury newsletter and Kaleidoscope Instagram: Promote events and connect with other clubs
- Employer connections: Connecting club members with potential employers

In addition, clubs will receive updates and communications about new resources and opportunities.
Don’t see a club that matches your interests? Kaleidoscope can also guide you through starting a club of your own.

Kaleidoscope is Boston based and also supports undergraduate clubs in Oakland and London. Assistant Dean of Student Experience at Khoury College Mark Fontenot advises the program.
