BS in Artificial Intelligence and Public Health
The combined BS in Artificial Intelligence and Public Health (Khoury College and Bouvé College of Health Sciences) offers students a strong foundation and experiential education that covers the social determinants of health, epidemiology, health care policy and administration, health communication, and health education and program planning. Students develop expertise in machine learning, large-scale information storage and retrieval, data visualization, and the mathematical foundations of AI — gaining the skills to build, evaluate, and apply intelligent systems to real-world health challenges.

Herman Saksono
Herman Saksono is an assistant professor at Khoury College, jointly appointed with the Bouvé College of Health Sciences. His research on human–computer interaction and digital health equity aims to encourage positive behaviors and catalyze social interactions around health, namely through a trio of health apps he designed and developed.
