Biography
Shuo Liu is a PhD student in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston. He is advised by Christopher Amato.
A member of the Lab for Learning and Planning in Robotics, Liu researches at the intersection of reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, and game theory. He's particularly interested in how to use multi-agent reinforcement learning algorithms to optimize LLM collaboration.
Before joining Khoury College in 2024, Liu worked as a research assistant at Columbia University, where he explored multi-agent reinforcement learning applications related to transportation systems. He has also published half a dozen papers, most recently with AAAI, RLC, and ICML.
