Biography
Rached Zantout is a part-time lecturer in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Silicon Valley.
Rached is a committed and experienced educator who has taught electrical engineering and computer science for over three decades. He joined Khoury College in 2023 to teach artificial intelligence, and now teaches computer networking and programming design as well. His resume as a professor includes courses on over fifty different topics — ranging from database management to electric circuits to technical writing — at eight universities across Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.
While his role at Khoury College is focused in the classroom, Rached also brings extensive research experience, mostly around robotics and AI. He always seeks to focus his research on problems faced by the communities in which he lives or works. Rached has published four book chapters and over 90 conference research papers, four of which have been honored with Best Paper awards.
Rached also teaches courses online at Rafik Hariri University in Lebanon.
