Biography

Parsa Rajabi is a part-time lecturer in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Vancouver. 

Rajabi’s interests include computer science education, human–computer interaction, and particularly AI education. He has taught computer science at numerous institutions, including Simon Fraser University (SFU), the University of British Columbia, and Langara College, covering domains such as software engineering, web development, and introductory human–computer interaction methods.  

Beyond teaching, Rajabi leads Learnification Labs, which focuses on the ethical and responsible integration of AI-based teaching and learning tools in computer science courses and broader curricula. His work is rooted in open education principles, striving to create accessible, innovative, and inclusive learning environments. 

Rajabi also serves as an advisor for an institution-wide task force at SFU, developing guidelines and policies for AI integration in education. Additionally, as a member of the open education advisory committee, he promotes the adoption and growth of open educational resources, advocating for learning opportunities that are more accessible, inclusive, and equitable for all students. 

Rajabi enjoys his time away from computers by skiing, hiking, camping, and volunteering in the community.
