Barry Wolfield is a part-time lecturer at Khoury College, and a managing director at Slalom Consulting, leading the company’s health and life sciences practice. His two decades in the health sciences industry have focused on using the new technologies and the information ecosystem to connect patients, providers, payers, and life sciences companies.

Chieh Wu is an assistant teaching professor at Khoury College. A prolific machine learning scholar and a specialist in kernel methods, Wu strives to blend those areas with biology, and to discover a unifying mathematical theory for neural networks.

As both a teacher with two decades of experience at San Francisco State and as a researcher studying human-centered AI, video accessibility, and socially responsible computing, Yoon focuses on engaging underrepresented and marginalized groups in computing and computing education.
