Becca Beshoar is an academic advisor in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston.

Beshoar joined Khoury College in 2025, excited to expand her advising expertise beyond first-year students and to support students through graduation. Her work involves guiding her students through degree requirements, course selection, career pathways, and transition challenges by helping them tailor their academic plans to their needs and goals. She is particularly passionate about helping students achieve their personal and professional goals by taking advantage of the college’s opportunities and resources.

Before joining Khoury College, Beshoar spent four years as an academic advisor for Northeastern University’s General Studies Program, helping students transition into their first year of university and select their desired college at Northeastern. Before that, she worked as a high school English and college readiness teacher, and as a college access coach for a nonprofit college access program supporting low-income and first-generation students.
