Physical Hardware Intelligence (Phi)
Silicon Valley’s hands-on robotics and embodied-AI club, open to all students regardless of college or program
Physical Hardware Intelligence, or Phi, is Northeastern Silicon Valley’s hands-on robotics and embodied-AI club. We build real robots and run real learning policies on them, so students from any program get a low-barrier, high-ceiling entry into physical AI. Anchored on the open-source, low-cost SO-101 robot arm and 3D-printed robot platforms, we turn classroom AI into hardware you can touch, program, and demo. We are a building club, not a talking club: every member leaves having actually made a robot move. We are the campus’s first student robotics club, open to all SV students regardless of college or program.
