Cross-Collegiate Innovation Alliance (CCIA)

A cross-college collaboration for students to work together on complex problems that demand both technical depth and broader awareness

Our mission is to bridge the gap between technical development, implementation, and societal impact by creating a collaborative space for graduate students across Khoury College, the College of Engineering (COE), and the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (CSSH). The club functions as an “innovation lab” where students don’t build in isolation but instead work on complex problems that demand both technical depth and broader awareness.

Through this collaboration, members gain experience developing scalable software and AI systems, integrating them with real-world hardware and constraints, and evaluating their work through ethical, policy, and human-centered lenses. Our ultimate goal is to help students become industry-ready professionals who understand how their technical decisions shape both the physical world and the communities affected by it.
