Minor in Artificial Intelligence
The Artificial Intelligence minor will prepare you with a solid technical foundation to succeed in an increasingly digital world, no programming background required. Through five courses — a foundation in programming and AI fundamentals, plus electives you choose — you’ll learn how to design, evaluate, and apply AI tools in ways that connect directly to your major, from health care to business to the arts. The minor fits easily alongside any degree program and prepares you to work with AI responsibly and effectively in whatever field you enter.

Build your foundation
You’ll start by taking three introductory courses in artificial intelligence with Khoury College majors and non-majors alike, developing your knowledge base while getting to know Khoury College’s diverse community. Once you complete your foundational classes, you’ll have opportunities to choose electives based on your interests and goals.

Laney Strange
Laney Strange is a teaching professor, associate dean for undergraduate programs, and co-director of AI curricular transformation at Khoury College. She advocates for underrepresented groups in computer science and holds Women’s Community of Code workshops that empower girls and women to pursue programming.
