What are the specifics of your educational/career background?
I began my college education with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a minor in Asian American Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles. I then completed my Masters degree in Student Development Administration at Seattle University. I have worked in higher education administration ever since.
What are the key aspects of your role at Northeastern? What do you enjoy most about what you do?
I do everything I can to help Bay Area Khoury college students thrive towards success as they progress through the Masters in Computer Science program.
I enjoy two things: Getting to know my students on a personal level, and working with my fellow colleagues/advisors to create a diverse array of programs that our students will appreciate.
What’s the most compelling thing to you about the work that goes on at Khoury?
I am most fascinated by the vision of the college to diversify the field of technology and Silicon Valley in general. I believe in the mission as many of my colleagues do, and it shows in the expansion of regional campuses as well in the alliance with Universities who share these goals.
