Biography

James Chang-Davidson is a director of industry-aligned student programs in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston. 

Chang-Davidson began facilitating student success and industry connections during his undergraduate days when he founded and led Kaleidoscope, a student-led consortium of Khoury College clubs that strives to build community and streamline access to resources. He received a number of awards for his work in the campus community, including the Huntington 100 Award, the Compass Award, and the Center for Student Involvement Lasting Impact Award. He also discovered a love for supporting students in developing their careers.  

After a stint as a product manager at ABL Space Systems, Chang-Davidson returned to Khoury College in 2025 to help develop innovative experiential learning opportunities in collaboration with industry partners. He is excited to shape the next generation of technologists’ careers and looks forward to developing customized experiential learning and interdisciplinary study opportunities. 

In his free time, Chang-Davidson enjoys making sushi and going on long walks.
