Biography
Eduardo Puerta is a doctoral student in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston. He is advised by Cody Dunne.
Since joining Khoury College in 2022, Puerta has broadly focused his research on data visualization, including layout algorithms for 3D printing networks. He enjoys his research’s interdisciplinary element, its ties to human–computer interaction, and the way it allows him to interact with potential users of his work. He has a long-term interest in the literacy and accessibility of statistics and data as part of using STEM for social good.
Outside of Northeastern, Puerta enjoys soccer and Ultimate.
