Biography

Dennis Chenard is the director of industry partnerships for student learning in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Vancouver.

Chenard's role focuses on expanding opportunities for cross-campus, cross-border, and cross-disciplinary research engagements, with the goal of furthering Khoury College's reputation as a leader in experiential learning and creating exciting new opportunities for its students and faculty. He loves making meaningful connections and is excited by the opportunity to add to the learning experiences of Khoury students.

Chenard brings extensive collaborative experience from his previous roles as vice president of business development at the production studio Departure Lounge, and as director of industry relations at the Centre for Digital Media. He has also worked with DigiBC, the First Nations Technology Council, the Canadian Video Game Awards, and the BCTECH Summit to build bridges between different tech industry niches and to create partnerships that benefit all involved.

In his free time, Chenard is an avid softballer and a dad to rescue dog Bones Monroe.
