Biography

David Albanese is an associate co-op coordinator in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston. 

Albanese began teaching history courses at Northeastern while completing his doctorate more than a decade ago, during which time he began to admire the unique opportunities of Northeastern’s co-op program. From there, he went on to guide Wentworth Institute of Technology computing students through their co-op journeys before rejoining Northeastern University in 2024.  

Albanese believes that Khoury College’s philosophy of “computer science for everyone” addresses a critical need for innovative skills across industries and academic disciplines. He is passionate about working with students to identify and showcase their skills for successful co-op searches. He brings a student-first approach to his work and enjoys helping students to select and navigate the best path for them.
