Rainbow NU Seattle

A safe space for queer students and allies to hang out and learn to code

Rainbow NU Seattle aims to provide a safe space for queer students and allies to hang out and learn to code together.

The club’s several dozen members build skills in networking, coding, and interviewing through social and career development events. Past social events include game nights and trans bingo at a local queer bar, while career development events include a LeetCode workshop and an event teaching students how to pass online assessments for positions at tech companies. In 2024, the club received a certificate of acknowledgement from the dean of the Northeastern Seattle campus for their positive and impactful contribution to the campus community.

In Rainbow NU, I can contribute to creating a safe space for queer students and allies to hang out and build career development skills together
