Kappa Theta Pi

Taking pride in developing the tech leaders of the future

Kappa Theta Pi brothers strive to foster academic growth and excellence for each other. We provide a supportive network filled with some of the brightest tech minds at the university who members can always rely on for help in classes and extracurricular activities. Through events like interview training, resume-building, one-on-one mentorship, private company recruiting, and more, Kappa Theta Pi aims to prepare members for success in any technology-related career. We take pride in developing the tech leaders of the future.

The people you meet in KTP will go on to be some of your closest friends throughout college and beyond. We host a variety of exclusive social events throughout the semester through which our members can bond, some of which include big-little families, retreats, and festive mixers. Kappa Theta Pi provides members numerous opportunities to enhance their current technical skills, as well as learn new ones. Whether participation in one of our various project teams or attending a technical workshop, we make it easy for our members to expand their expertise.

We aim to foster an environment conducive to uplifting each other academically, professionally, and socially during the most pivotal and transformative period of our lives. United by a shared love for technology, we keep moving forward together to see what the future holds.

We are aiming to cultivate a space and community within Khoury that is holistically balanced, allowing our members to thrive in each facet of college life: professional development, academic support, alumni relations, social networks, and most importantly for us, exploring a passion for technology and building

Process to join

We conduct a semesterly “rush” recruitment season in the first month of every semester, open to all students of all majors/college, that includes attending our info sessions, resume workshops, co-op/alumni panel, and “meet the brothers” mixer. After that, we have invite-only social events where prospective members can gain a deeper insight into our community and get to know each member on a more personal level. Recruitment ends with formal interviews between prospective candidates and active members.
