
Minor in Data Science

Build your foundation
You will start by taking three introductory courses in data science with Khoury College majors and nonmajors alike, developing your knowledge base while getting to know Khoury College’s diverse community. Once you complete your foundational classes, you’ll have opportunities to choose electives based on your interests and goals.

At Khoury College, you will be able to choose electives to personalize your minor, making it more meaningful to your goals. Whatever your major — biology to business, ecology to economics — you’ll build in-depth interdisciplinary knowledge that directly applies to your studies, plus the technical skills to succeed in a data-driven world.

Laney Strange
Laney Strange is a teaching professor, director for teaching faculty in Boston, and director of broadening participation at Khoury College. She advocates for underrepresented groups in computer science and holds Women’s Community of Code workshops that empower girls and women to pursue programming.
