Biography
Claudia Flores-Saviaga is a doctoral student at the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, advised by Saiph Savage. Her research focuses on artificial intelligence, crowdsourcing and disinformation. Flores-Saviaga also works in the Civic A.I. Lab at Northeastern. With a passion for civic technology, she is currently a member of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace’s Influence Operations research group.
Before joining Northeastern, she was a Facebook research fellow, Twitter research intern and completed a summer doctoral program at the Oxford Internet Institute. Previously, Flores-Saviaga worked as a technical adviser to local governors in Mexico and provided technical advice to the presidency of Mexico.
