We will use Piazza for homework and class discussions. The system is highly catered to getting you help fast and efficiently from classmates, the TA, and faculty. Do not email questions to the teaching staff; instead post your questions on Piazza. If you have any problems or feedback for the developers, email team@piazza.com.

Do not ask if your solutions are correct: the point of the homework is to have you try and solve a problem on your own. Do ask clarification questions and do ask conceptual questions.

Unless otherwise indicated, homework is due by 5:00PM on the due date. Our rules for working on homework is that everyone on the team will keep a log tracking what they did for the homework and how much time they spent. Everytime you work on the homework you have to add an entry to the log and you have to commit to the repository. Every group member should have their own log file. The name of the log file should be "log-Last-First" where "Last" is your last name and "First" is your first name. The log files should correspond to the commits that you do; we may double check. You also have to provide feedback for every homework. Each homework will provide a link to a questionnaire you will fill out. We will not even look at anything you submit that is checked in after the homework deadline. Late homeworks will not be accepted under any circumstances.
