What are the specifics of your educational/career background?
Librarian, R.S.L. (Royal School of Library and Information Science, Denmark). After earning my Librarian degree, I gained experience in academic and corporate library environments in Denmark and Australia before retooling my information specialist skills toward grant administration.
What are the key aspects of your role at Northeastern? What do you enjoy most about what you do?
As a pre-award grants administrator, I draw on my experience as a biomechanics research assistant at Brown University, and my subsequent role of assisting faculty with grant proposals. I enjoy working with faculty, learning about their research and being able to assist with making the administrative side of grant proposals as smooth as possible.
What’s the most compelling thing to you about the work that goes on at CCIS?
I am constantly amazed at how much computer science influences everything we do on a daily basis and the amount that is possible compared to when I was a child. I am thrilled to be part of an institution that is shaping what is yet to come.
