What are the specifics of your educational/career background?
I earned a BA from Mount Holyoke College where I majored in English and minored in art history. I worked as an executive assistant and office manager in New York’s financial sector prior to moving to Massachusetts where I assisted senior staff at Mount Holyoke and Worcester State University.
What are the key aspects of your role at Northeastern? What do you enjoy most about what you do?
I am the Executive Assistant to the Executive Director of the Cybersecurity and Privacy Institute in the College of Computer and Information Science at Northeastern University.
What I enjoy most are the people I work with.
What’s the most compelling thing to you about the work that goes on at CCIS?
It is critical to the health and welfare of humanity to research and develop protections against cybersecurity threats by increasingly savvy saboteurs.
Where did you grow up or spend your most defining years?
I grew up on Long Island in New York.
What led you to work in your field and/or study at your college?
I find it inspiring to work in higher education among experts in their fields and students eager to improve the world.
