What are the brief specifics of your education/career background?

I graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance. I hold a Certificate of Accounting from North Shore Community College, I am currently pursuing an MBA with a specialization in accounting from Endicott College.

What are the key aspects of your role at Northeastern? What do you enjoy most/find most interesting about what you do?

It is my job to assist the CCIS Co-Op and Advising staff with projects and events, to help students get checked in for their advising appointments and answer any questions they may have, and to act as the point person for all NUCareers related questions as I am also the Data Manager for my team. I love getting to build relationships with employers and students and getting to watch the entire co-op process from beginning to end.

What’s the most compelling thing to you about the work that goes on at CCIS?

I am so happy that Northeastern has such a strong commitment to being a “green” campus. You know a university is great when they make huge strides not only for their students, but for the environment as well.

Where did you spend the most defining years of your child/young adulthood?

I am originally from Dallas, Texas, and I spent my entire life there until I decided to try something new and travel 1800 miles away to Boston for college.

What led you to work in your field and/or study at your college?

My experience working in an admin position as a student at NEC really helped me develop a love for higher education administration. I love getting to meet students and their families and it is very fulfilling to be a part of a team that helps students along their educational journey.
