What are the brief specifics of your educational/career background?
I hold a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Sociology with a minor in Theoretical and Applied Ethics. I spent the majority of my collegiate career as a researcher in academia. Presently, I’m a graduate student a Northeastern.
What are the key aspects of your role at Northeastern? What do you enjoy most about what you do?
As a Graduate Admissions Assistant, I alternate my time between answering student queries, application review, and application processing. I enjoy working with students and helping them achieve their academic and professional goals.
What’s the most compelling thing to you about the research/work that goes on at the College?
I admire the college’s commitment to diversity and their ability to build comprehensive programs that create a lasting impact in the field. It’s fulfilling to watch how the research/work of the college continues to infiltrate our daily lives and world, in remarkable ways.
Where did you grow up/spend the most defining years of your child/young adulthood?
I was born and raised in Brookline, Massachusetts. I’ve also had the privilege of spending most of my defining summers traveling with my family throughout the Caribbean.
