What are the brief specifics of your educational and professional background?
I hold a Master of Public Policy from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science degree in sociology with a minor in theoretical and applied ethics.
Prior to joining Northeastern, I worked in the nonprofit sector in immigration policy and human rights law advocacy. I also worked as a researcher to address teacher learning and equity in prekindergarten, kindergarten through sixth grade, and middle school teaching.
What are the key aspects of your role at Northeastern? What do you enjoy most about what you do?
I am passionate about supporting students in reaching their academic and professional goals through advising and programming. I take pride in making sure students have a positive and impactful experience within the Align program, and that their needs are well-supported.
What’s the most compelling thing to you about the work that goes on at Khoury College?
I’m passionate about the Align program, and the emphasis on how it was built with the goal of bridging the diversity gaps in tech by giving students from any academic background the ability to earn a master’s degree in computer science.
