What are the brief specifics of your educational/career background?
I graduated Cum Laude over at Quincy College with an associates in Healthcare Management. I am currently a Northeastern student graduating in spring 2019 with a BA in Health Management.
What are the key aspects of your role at Northeastern? What do you enjoy most/find most interesting about what you do?
I act as the front desk for the operations of the College of Computer and Information Science. I love being able to assist with staff, faculty, and students with their day to day task and helping them reach their academic or professional goals.
What’s the most compelling thing to you about the research/work that goes on at the College?
Computer Science is necessary in everyday life for all areas of work so it is exciting to witness all the different aspects that CCIS contributes to.
Where did you grow up/spend the most defining years of your child/young adulthood?
I am originally from Cambridge, MA then moved to Randolph, MA when I was around 10 years old and still reside there now.
What led you to work in your field and/or study at your college? Any reason in particular why you opted for those particular schools/careers (family history, a program you were excited about, a city you were dying to live in)?
I love that CCIS is so diverse from the people to the different industries that it contributes to. With CCIS being able to connect with so many fields of work, it isn’t just sheltered to one thing which always for constant learning and improvements. I am happy to be a part of that innovating and driving change.
