What are the specifics of your educational/career background?
I started at Northeastern sitting at the front desk of the Dean’s Suite before moving to the Align team as a program coordinator. Before all of this, I studied film and worked briefly in entertainment. I still write screenplays in my free time.
What are the key aspects of your role at Northeastern? What do you enjoy most about what you do?
I work on the non-academic side of the Align program. I focus specifically on our scholarship operations, stewardship between our students and industry partners, and analytics. I also lead the charge on several pilot initiatives associated with the Align program, such as our high school student visit days.
What’s the most compelling thing to you about the work that goes on at Khoury?
Khoury, much like a part of the industry we funnel students to, operates a lot like a start-up. Every day is a new challenge and presents the opportunity to think creatively and do some meaningful work.
Where did you grow up or spend your most defining years?
I grew up outside of Manchester, New Hampshire.
What led you to work in your field and/or study at your college?
My family has a long history of working in higher education, and I grew up attending my mother’s (a professor) classes. The college environment feels like home!
