What are the specifics of your educational/career background?
I graduated this past May from Boston University with my Bachelors in Film and Television. During this time, I also worked as a Lab Assistant for the Makerspace and Innovation Lab at Southern New Hampshire University.
What are the key aspects of your role at Northeastern? What do you enjoy most about what you do?
I act as the front desk for the operations of the College of Computer and Information Science. I enjoy working with professors, students, and staff in order to best assist them with achieving their academic goals.
What’s the most compelling thing to you about the work that goes on at CCIS?
I enjoy the broad range of research and academic pursuits that the professors and students of the school are engaging in. Coming from a liberal arts background, seeing the incredible work in Computer and Information Science is quite eye-opening!
Where did you grow up or spend your most defining years?
I grew up outside of Manchester, New Hampshire.
What led you to work in your field and/or study at your college?
My family has a long history of working in higher education, and I grew up attending my mother’s (a professor) classes. The college environment feels like home!
