Sam Ferguson
Sam Ferguson is a part-time lecturer at Khoury College, as well as holding a position as a research scientist at Metron, Inc and teaching night classes at local universities throughout Washington, D.C. His research covers algorithms and theory, data science, and machine learning topics.

Elizabeth (Beth) Hawthorne
Elizabeth “Beth” Hawthorne is a professor and a cybersecurity graduate program director at Khoury College. As the founding director and curriculum developer for Rider University’s cybersecurity graduate program, she is passionate about good cybersecurity education, and she teaches courses on both cybersecurity and digital forensics.

Youna Jung
Youna Jung is an associate teaching professor at Khoury College. She teaches courses on programming, databases, operating systems, security, and privacy, and her research has encompassed AI, mobile health care, and collaborative, social, and ubiquitous computing, among other topics.

Nadim Saad
Nadim Saad is an assistant teaching professor in the Khoury College. He enjoys teaching foundational computer science and data science courses where he can guide students in subjects that might be new to them, and his research has historically explored partial differential equations.

Katherine Socha
Katherine Socha is an associate teaching professor at Khoury College. She is passionate about ensuring her students develop the mathematical foundations needed to understand advanced computational concepts, and teaches courses on discrete structures and algorithms.

Viney Ugave
Viney Ugave is a part-time lecturer at Khoury College and a senior software engineer at Microsoft. He holds several mobile computing patents and teaches courses on mobile application development.

Huihui Wang
Huihui Wang is a teaching professor at Khoury College, and a director of computing programs for the Arlington campus. Her research examines challenges and opportunities for computing education in the third wave of artificial intelligence, and she enjoys helping students without undergraduate CS degrees to thrive in her computing foundations courses.
