EDUCATION
Sep. 04 – Present Northeastern University, Boston, MA
Graduate Student in College of Computer Science.

Sep. 99 – Jul. 03 Tsinghua University, Beijing, China
Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Technology.

EXPERIENCE
May. 05– Present

College of Computer Science, Northeastern University
Subject: Numerical Analysis
Colleague: Daniel Kunkle
Work: Finding appropriate pre-conditioners and solvers for different sorts of sparse matrices. Using TOP-C to build the parallel versions of the pre-conditioner and solver library which could run in both shared memory and distributed memory pattern.

Sep. 04 – Present

College of Computer Science, Northeastern University
Subject: Rasmol Molecular Renderer Extention
Colleague: Eldar A. Sadikov
Work: Using Rasmol to load a protein file. Analysis the structure of that protein, find tetrahedra structure of the backbone by Delaunay tessellation. Then find a large topological match of two different protein stuctures.

Sep. 04– Nov. 04 College of Computer Science, Northeastern University
Subject: Hard Disk simulation.
Advisor: Prof. Gene Cooperman
Work: Simulate different disk scheduling algorithms (FCFS, CLOOK, SSTF, SPTF) with different disk parameters (block size, IO request size, locality, etc.)

Aug. 03 – Jun. 04 System Research Group, University of Hong Kong. (Full-time)
Subject: Parallel Computing Application
Advisor: Prof. Chow-li Wang
Work: Parallel Computation of Dynamic “Shortest Path” for Large Number of Travelers in a Large Dynamically Changing Graph.

Feb. 03 – Jul. 03 Digital Logic Lab, Tsinghua University
Subject: Micro-controller Application
Colleague: Chang Huang
Work: Developing Experimental Platform. Using x86 assembly language to implement Digital Function Generator and Digital Oscillograph with Micro-controllers.

Nov. 01 – Jan. 03 State Key Lab of Intelligent Technology and Systems, Tsinghua University
Subject: Information Query System.
Advisor: Prof. Mingxing Xu
Work: Implementing information query system (based on Telephone & Internet) which could provide different kinds of queries such as flights and movie tickets.

Jul. 02 – Aug. 02 Institute of Application Electronic Technology, Changchun, China
Work: Participated in researching and testing the “wide-angle photoelectric sensor” and wrote the controlling and testing programs. Wrote parts of the papers.

Oct. 01 – Jan. 02 Computer Organization & Architecture Lab, Tsinghua University
Work: Design and implement 8/16 bits computer. Implement all basic functions and improve the running frequency of the computer.
