Shan Jiang is a Ph.D. student at Northeastern University, advised Christo Wilson. His research seeks to measure the online misinformation ecosystem by observing its players’ behaviors. He is broadly interested in leveraging AI/ML methods to address social concerns and has implemented some during his internships at Facebook, Google AI, and Dataminr. His work appeared in WWW, CSCW, ICWSM, AAAI, and others, where he has also won an outstanding analysis award and an honorable mention for best paper.
