CCIS undergraduate students enrolled in the co-op class and searching for their first co-op
What is this event?
Employers participate in co-op class panel discussions intended to help students gain a better understanding of the interview process (behavioral and technical) as well as company culture. The employer panels are the most highly rated classes in the course. Employers help students prepare for their co-op job searches while promoting their company and the unique employment opportunities offered.
This class session allows employers to participate in panel discussions intended to help students gain a better understanding of the interview processes, success criteria and professional expectations as well as company culture. Students may also bring general questions about types of interviews and how to perform well on technical interviews. This class is an active discussion between employers and students and a great opportunity to generate awareness of your company.
A member of the CCIS co-op team will contact you to discuss logistics.
Who from my company should attend?
We recommend an HR professional, Team Leader, or Software Engineer who enjoys coming into the classroom for the purpose of helping students become prepared for their co-op search. Participants should be familiar with the hiring process, questions frequently asked, and characteristics that are important for success.
