September 25 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm EDT
Khoury Undergraduate students, a mix of first time and more experienced co-op students, seeking co-op for January – June 2020
What is this event?
This event is the earliest Khoury-sponsored event offered for undergraduate students getting ready to go out on co-op. Employers get a jumpstart on meeting candidates available for the upcoming co-op session and can collect resumes for consideration for co-op openings. Your company’s presence can help increase your visibility with our students, building your brand on campus. You will spend the evening helping students prepare for their upcoming job searches, whether conducting mock interviews and resume critiques or providing real problems for students to solve on a technical interview. In each of these roles you will have an opportunity to provide feedback to help students strengthen their interview skills.
Mock Behavioral Interviews and Resume Critiques
Students will sign up for a 15-minute meeting with a company representative(s) to practice interview questions and get feedback on their resumes. Employer participants will be responsible for preparing interview questions in advance to use during the event.
Company representatives will have a small round table for 8-10 participants and a white board. Students will meet in small groups to practice technical interview questions. Employer participants will be responsible for preparing technical interview problems in advance to use during the event.
- Registration, set-up and light dinner: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
