Co-op delivers a deeper educational experience
The Khoury College Graduate Cooperative Education Program (co-op) offers an opportunity to apply your knowledge in new, authentic contexts. Co-op participation at the graduate level is voluntary, and most students seek out the professional experience to deepen their education, develop new skills, and determine how theory and practice work together.
You’ll have the opportunity to gain up to 12 months of hands-on work related to your major—achieving significant personal growth, increased self-confidence and initiative, and stronger technical skills.
Participation in a co-op or internship at the master’s level is largely based on a student’s ability to demonstrate readiness for a successful learning experience at work – typically determined by academic progress and maturity.
Co-op is not guaranteed for any student. Employers decide who they want to interview and hire.
