After graduation, I began work at DuPont developing quality control software applications for their international small contract manufacturing plants. I then transferred into the Pension Fund group (now DuPont Capital Management) and helped develop their internal quantitative investment models for US and UK equities. After 11 years, I joined the investment firm Aronson + Partners (now AJO), aiding in development of quantitative valuation, risk, and transaction cost models for US Equities. Eventually becoming a portfolio manager and partner in the firm. Over this period I received my MBA from the University of Delaware and obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA). I reside in the Philadelphia area after living in Texas and Wilmington Delaware for many years with DuPont. I have recently retired from AJO (12/16) and am evaluating a possible career change to something related to education.
